Overview [ ]

The New Game + process has multiple consequences causing sure items to change and others to stay the same.

Andromeda Viability Points and Cryo Pod Perks [ ]

Andromeda Viability Points (AVP) and cryo pod perks will reset afterward a New Game +.

  • All AVP points will reset dorsum to nix and the Nexus level will return to 1.
  • Spent and unspent cryo pod perk points will reset back to default and have to be acquired again.

Inventory [ ]

Inventory mostly stays the same after a New Game + while some items reset.

After starting a New Game +, the item limit returns to 100. Most items in inventory will still exist available (except as noted beneath) and the amount can be over 100 items. Ryder will exist unable to do any inventory related deportment until item count is below 100.

Weapons [ ]

All weapons, weapon mods, and weapon configurations will remain. Whatsoever crafted weapons will remain the same as prior to the New Game +.

Armor [ ]

All armor, fusion mods, and armor configurations will remain. Whatsoever crafted armor will remain the same prior to the New Game +.

  • Currently owned fusion mods volition remain in inventory and the game mechanics will reset allowing a second copy of each fusion modern to exist collected.

Consumables [ ]

All consumables items in inventory will remain.

  • The extra consumable slots from the Always Prepared and Versatility cryo pod perks volition reset and return to two consumables slots. These cryo pod perks will have to exist acquired over again to return these extra slots.

Research [ ]

All acquired blueprints transfer over during a New Game + with the exception of a few special item mission related blueprints.

Most ND1 Nomad blueprints that were acquired and/or developed correctly transfer to the New Game + but two of blueprints Improved Boost and Improved Shield Regeneration can incorrectly show up over again in inventory. Do not develop any Nomad blueprints until Ryder has landed on Eos and entered the ND1 Nomad for the offset time. Entering the Nomad volition install all of the previously acquired upgrades and remove any duplicated blueprints.

Resources [ ]

Most resources transfer over during a New Game + with a few exceptions in special items. All minerals, tech materials, bio materials, salvage, augmentations transfer over equally they were from the previous game.

Special Items [ ]

Certain special items remain in inventory afterwards a New Game + while others reset.

  • Purchased model ships volition remain in inventory.
  • Costless model ships that are found during gameplay volition reset and have to be collected once more.
  • Remnant Decryption Keys will remain in inventory.
